Today my book came at my mom’s house im soo excited to go over there this weekend to pick it up!! ahhhhhhhhh
Today i was walking to class and i slipped on the crub and fell in a puddle of water…..along with my cell phone. 
As I was driving to the Ordover Gallery, i got a little lost. i finally found the gallery. asi walked in a saw a little old man with a dog in the window as i walked in. the Ordover Gallery in Solana Beach was a small little Gallery owed by a man named Abe Ordover. there he had some of his art work for sale. i looked at his art work and i liked it. it looked very impressonist. he also had artwork from a woman named Lisa Ross. She had many of her art work printed on canvas which gave it more of an impression look to it. not only that it also looks like teh picture is painted not a photograph. but also what she does is make a picture out of a bigger picture.so for example she might have an orginal larger photo. and she will take a piece of of that art work and make it into a smaller photo. there was another artist paintings there by the name of Elizabeth CArmel all of her painting were also printed on Canvas and also makes it look like it is painted. even as i took a closer look at the photo it still looks apinted becasue of the texture of the canvas. i think one day i would reallyl ike to print a photo on canvas. this photo below is by Elizabeth Carmal.
So this MOPA stands for Museum Of Phogrpahic Arts and this one was also in Balboa Park. the photograher that i liked wasFazal Sheik. all of his photos were in black and white. and they all told a story but it was not him telling the story it was the people in the pictures telling them. there was a photograph of a really old lady and she was telling her life story on happiness. she had an arrange married and she said that she loved her husband. the best times that she had was when she was with him. while they were married they had 4 children 3 girls 1 boy. after her husband died all she had was her youngest daughter because all her children were married. after her last daughter was married she was all alone. and i was kind of sad. but i really like the stories that were told. her was another story of a woman who was not married. she said that she didnt believe in love. she had a friend who married for love instead of an arranged married. that husbend abused and abused her freind. and if that is love then she wants nothign to do with it. so she perhers to be alone.
i went to the San Diego Natural History Museum and saw the Baja California Exhibition. At first when I went I did not think i was going to think I was going to like it as much as I did. The picture shown above was the first photo that i saw and i really like it alot. The color was remarkable the color blue is so pure. My favorite people of all time was of a sea lion upside down underwater and the sea lion had its mouth open with bubbles coming out if its mouth. that photo is just soo fun and livley to look at. i took that animal isnt extinct. Ralph Lee Hopkin also had many pictures of landscapes but i really like the pictures of the animals better. then afterwards i went to see a free movie in 3d. it was dinosaurs ALive it was pretty cool. i figured i would watch a free movie since i was already there. it was cool i leraned alot not only about dinosuars but also saw amazing photos from Rober Lee Hopkins. sweet deal!!!!
Today im going to the natural history museum to go check out the baja exhibtion. and im loooking forward to it im rather excited to check it out, since there has been alot of talk about it in class!!
so yesterday was my most productive day ever!!!! i woke up early took my car to go get smoged!!! (and it passed horray!!!) then i went to the dmv to pay my resistration. afterwards i went to finish taking a couple of more pictires for my book. then i went to school and was there for about 4 hours. but i finally finished my book and i order it! sweeeet! then i went into work and came home to sleeeep! i love when i get things done!!!! all that is left to do this week is go to those art galleries!!!!
So far i have about 8 pictures completed for my book and i like the way that it is turning out. one each two page spread one picture will be or people and the second page will be alcohol. One of those two pictures will be in color and the other will be mostly in black and white. i like the way the picture look so up close. so i am thinking of perhaps doing really big close ups of the pictures. what do you guys think?
